Had a wonderful week exploring the beautiful Union Canal up to Edinburgh and back plus a trip to The Kelpies. The boat had everything we needed - even heating for those wet days! So quiet and peaceful, lovely way to explore!

Boat was in excellent condition and clean, plus the canal we travelled on (Llangollen) was perfect for a week's casual cruising. Will definitely book again with ABC.

We had a great holiday,scope owl was perfect for our trip. Setting off and returning the boat went smoothly. Slight concern about missing Cork screw but overcome with ingenuity by our captain and we are ready for another family voyage next year

The boat was in good condition and well equipped except for umbrellas which we could not find during a big downpour; this did not impact on our overall enjoyment of the holiday. There seems to have been a communication error about the first swing bridge beyond the marina. We did not appreciate it was not operational for boats between 8 and 9am. This slightly delayed our return but the marina staff understood why.

Thank you for your feedback, which we will forward to the marina so that the umbrellas can be replaced. The swing bridge near to the marina does have time restrictions as it carries a busy road over the canal, this is normally explained during your boat handover, apologies if this wasn't clear. The boat was very clean and had everything we needed. One of the double beds wasn't very comfortable but that was because it is designed to be split into two singles. Perhaps a better mattress topper would improve it. We did have trouble lighting the gas hob and went through lots of matches until we managed to buy a has lighter for it. When we returned the staff said they were having trouble getting hold of these.

Greatly enjoyed our short Mon-Fri Aug boating trip from Goytre. Staff were kindly and patient before, during (incl. delivering bedding after hours one night!) and at the end of our holiday. Lovely boat, well equipped and exquisite scenery!

We had a great week. ABC staff were very helpful and gave a comprehensive briefing before we left. Boat was well equipped and had everything we needed.

Excellent holiday- beautiful canal with stunning scenery and features, Both aquaducts are incredible along with tunnels and lift bridges make for a memorable route, Our boat was very comfortable as always and the staff very friendly and helpful, Thank you

First time ‘barger’ fantastic time loved it even with all the rain!! Had a good crew! Boat spotless towels bedding etc.. good standard

The boat was all that we had expected, having hired from ABC before however it was not as clean as we expected and the decor was beginning to feel a little tired. Otherwise we had a really good time.
