Every thing was good with the boat apart from a broken door handle, but this was quickly fixed before we left. It was very busy getting people started off and although we arrived at the pick up time we had to wait quite a while. Once it was our turn the staff were friendly and made everything clear. The boat was lovely and the return very easy.

The boat was clean and comfortable. We've sailed on many other boats but loved the layout of Lochan Ora. All facilities were in good working order and décor/bedding etc looked new.

A nice hire base with informative and helpful staff. The boat we hired was familiar to me as I have hired the same class before and as expected it was clean, comfortable and well equiped. On the canal itself the boat performed and handled very well. We journeyed from Reedley Marina to Skipton and back. Although the brochure suggests that on a 4 night break it is possible to get to Bingley don't bother trying as it really is that bit too far for a comfortable cruise.

The boat was lovely and the staff were completely helpful, friendly and attentive to ensuring that we had a relaxing and smooth break. Geoff was really helpful in getting setup on the boat and Linda in the office was very efficient, friendly and ensured we had all we needed before setting sail.

Generally, everyting about the location, marina, staff and boat was great. Our week away was lovely and the boat was definitely adequate for our requirements. However, our only grumble was our sleeping arrangements. Our double bed was formed by the bench seat and collapsing dining table. This was not very comfortable. If you have any sort of back problems, as I have, I would advise not to hire this option.

Beautiful and interesting canal on an excellent narrow boat. Really helpful and friendly marina with a smooth handover both arriving and coming back.
