A really great experience. Nice staff, well equipped boat. Even though 24 h support is said to be provided, we were lucky enough not needing to ask for it.

The marina were very good. We had a problem with the boats engine on the cruise. They came out straight away and repaired it so we were able to continue with our holiday.

The boat was immaculate when handed over and all the equipment was top shelf (Notable exception being a non-functioning vacuum cleaner). The staff were clear and direct in terms of outlining our responsibilities in order to stay safe and provided a very good tutorial whist driving the boat before we set off. The lock demonstration was similarly clear so when we actually left we felt well prepared. This is a good company which cares about its customers and we really felt as though we were in good hands. They are also ethical as they called us back to the office for a fuel refund (I completely forgot!). If you want a canal holiday - use these guys!

Gailey Wharf is positioned next to Gailey top lock which makes it a perfect start location for first time boaters as a member of the team can take the crew through during their handover. Thoroughly enjoyed our time again with abc we found the staff all pleasant and helpful getting us away quickly on Friday and giving info for our holiday of where to get to for our first night stop even if we did miss the turn onto the Shropshire canal. Our fault not theirs but even that didn’t spoil our weekend

We got brilliant service from ABC staff, they were very kind and helpful, and gave good instructions. Baldrik our boat where very well equipt, we where six adults living for six days, with no problem and very convenient. The Llangollen Canal was very beautiful and interesting. We hade a great time and end August seems to be a great time for a tour on the canal, not crowded but still some nice people to talk to. We can really recommend ABC boat hire Whitchurch marina

On our monday arrival the brief and handover by Ian was clear and comprehensive. The boat was clean, tidy and well equipped. Amazing shower/bathroom facilities. We navigated the four counties ring anti clockwise which was completed comfortably in the Pacific Gull, which did not miss a beat. On out return to the yard on monday morning the following week we were greeted by Ian. The hand back was hassle free and we were on our way. Very professional and would definitely recommend.

We had a super time, learning how to steer a narrow boat and manoeuvre through locks, and were impressed with the boat itself and the marina staff who looked after us so well. We plan to sail again next year!
