Boat was great and boatyard very supportive but we weren't informed that the route to Fotheringhay (the focus of our holiday) was not possible due to the extended closure of Elton Lock.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. March Marina would normally contact guests prior to the start of their holiday to inform them of any stoppages that may affect cruising routes. However, on this occasion the Marina had not been informed that the closure at Elton Lock had been extended so were unable to pass this information on. Loved it! The ABC Boat Hire team at Reedley Marina were very helpful and knowledgeable. The Leeds Liverpool canal over the top of the Pennines was spectacular.

The staff at Whitchurch Marina were excellent, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The boat we hired, Grith, had everything we needed , with only 1 problem through the week with the wifi which was sorted swiftly and efficiently by the staff at Whitchurch.

Good overall but one morning the engine wouldn't start so i had to phone helpline twice. When i spoke to someone after about half an hour he talked me through the battery boost which worked but hadn't been explained at the introduction.

Our engineers are available during opening times or out of hours if there is any issue on board but they would always prefer to talk customers through a technical problem in case it cannot be resolved over the phone and they need to come out to you. From the excellent warm welcome to the efficient return handover, we had an amazing time. We received lots of valuable information from the boatyard at the start which enabled us to plan our week cruising to Llangollen and back. The boat was clean, well equipped and comfortable, really the best we’ve hired. Housekeeping did everything to ensure our comfort before we left. I really recommend Wrenbury boatyard.

We really enjoyed the trip, boat was warm and clean and well laid out. The nice slow pace with some lovely pubs along the way made for a very enjoyable trip.
