Lovely boat narrowboat, very clean. One of our toilets had not been empty properly, the smell was horrible, we had to get the toilet emptied ourselves. The boat yard did refund our money for getting the toilet pumped.

Boat was very clean and everything worked well. The bed was not as advertised it had an extender piece on the bed board but not extender mattress for it. We asked and were told that was the managers policy. It is advertised as a large bed so that needs changing one way or another.

The boat was ready on time - folks were friendly and informative to get us started - places we visited on the trip were friendly. The boat worked great. This is our second trip with ABC tours. We toured from Wrenbury to Elliesmere which is a beautiful area.

Excellent service and instruction, lovely narrowboat The only down side was how early we had to return the boat on a 3 night trip

Thank you for your feedback, we're pleased you had such a good time! The return time of 9am allows our Marina staff to prepare the boat ready for the next crew who will be arriving later that day. We do find that most of our customers who have hired a boat for the weekend prefer to come back to the Marina on Sunday evening, ready to depart the next morning. We hope to see you again soon.

Myra and the lock staff were very helpful and friendly. However unfortunately I caught cryptosporidium and could only have come from trip. I was very mindful on hygiene whilst aboard.

Thank you for your feedback. The staff at Falkirk Marina pride themselves on the cleanliness of their boats, which are all cleaned to a very high standard. As well as following strict cleaning procedures, the water tanks are filled up and flushed out between each hire. We are sorry to hear that you have been ill and wish you a speedy recovery. We'd had the same boat the year before and had listed minor 'gripes' that needed fixing. We're not surprised at the end of a season that things need doing. It was lovely to have the same craft this year and see that they'd solved all the previous problems and fitted a new cooker and worktop which was fantastic. Would happily have the same boat again.

Wery professional. It’s my third trip on a narrowboat. And this is so far the most torough company I have rented from. This concerning safety and information. And the marina in Ellesmere is a great base for several journeys in the future. I’ll be back:-)

We had a lovely time, my husband, myself and my two elderly parents, both of whom have mobility problems. The first morning it was raining, but it stopped by lunchtime and although it wasn’t brilliant blue skies every day, we enjoyed the scenery and helpfulness of people we met. We went from Hilperton to Bath and back and the scenery is stunning. It is a very relaxing holiday.
