the service was excellent the staff very polite friendly and helpful. comparing other boats I have been on this one was comfortable but despite its size still felt a little cramped - not the very best use of the space inside so there was a lot of pulling into gaps to pass up and down the boat. other than that it was comfy and warm when the sun went down and the heating went on. the dogs loved it to.

Boat was very comfortable and well equipped, easy to drive. The staff at ABC were cheery and helpful, letting us know that the boat would be ready early if we wanted to start before lunch on the Friday.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. They got us on our way as quickly as possible and on our return made sure we could begin our trip home quickly. The boat was everything we had been lead to believe. We had a problem with our water filler cap part way through our trip, one quick phone call and a very pleasent engineer met us and sorted out a fix for us and then gave us advice on where to eat that night.,

This is the second narrowboat I've hired from ABC. Myself and two friends cruised from Hilperton to Bristol and back. Apart from one very wet day, we had a wonderful time. The highlight for me was cruising into Bristol Docks, and visiting the SS Great Britain, an amazing ship. I'd never visited Bristol before, and to arrive by narrowboat was just brilliant.

The boat was in excellent condition. However, upon closer examination, several things need to be addressed: in the galley, you can't open the freezer in the fridge, because the door doesn't open wide enough and you can't move the oven shelves, again because the door doesn't open wide enough. Overall, the galley design is very poor
