Everything was up to scratch and as expected except that we were not told before the trip that the swing bridge was broken and this would delay us somewhat.

Very enjoyable holiday. The boat was fine - not the best layout we've ever had but we should have worked that out from the diagrams. Staff helpful The locks were all in very good order and the Canal was well looked after.

Thank you for your feedback. The bunk beds on our Gosling Class are more suited to children and can be viewed on our website before deciding which boat will be the best option for your crew. A great experience. I would recommend it to anyone. ABC's boats are exactly as described in the website, clean well equipped & not difficult to handle after you got the hang of it. Locks are interesting but can get tiring after a while so count the locks & make a judgement call. We purchased a map at the office but it turned out to confusing & lacked detail. It was the feeling of everyone on board that a good quality map should be provided with the charter.

The service at Gailey was excellent with the staff friendly and efficient. The boat was exactly as specified. It was thought slightly tired with several of the curtain end stops missing. The engine was rather smoky until it got thoroughly warmed up after half an hour.

My first complaint is the beds all four beds were hard & very uncomfortable we put the two blankets under one bed & on the other we sleeped on the spare pillows it was that bad. One of the toilet become full before the week was out, after being told that there would be plenty of room in the toilet tank for a week , we tried to empty the toilet tank but was told we needed a prepaid card we were not told of this, we were also told we would be able to moor anywhere as long as there was no sign to say private, but in fact it was very difficult to moor as so many people live on the canals & rivers which take up all the spaces. The good thing was we could laugh about all these things & the weather was good. All we can say is we have done it don't think we will do it again also the TV & DVD did not work & the Hoover had not been emptied even when emptied it did not work well

Really nice boat. And very helpful staff in Worcester Marina when we had an accident with our rudder half way round and they came out and sorted it out on the spot.
