Disappointed to find the two on-board showers still had plastic curtains, unlike those with cubicles/doors on a similar-size narrow-boat we hired from Aldermaston in 2017, which also had auto shower pumpout. I hope craft will be upgraded to the Aldermaston standard. Kitchen chopping-board missing from inventory. Otherwise, onboard facilities were very good and no technical problems.

We continue to update our boats and the Warbler Class boat that you hired last year does have some of our newer features which will be introduced across the fleet eventually. We do offer a 360° internal tour of all of our boats on our website too if you would like to check the layout in future. We hope to welcome you back aboard again soon!

Everthing was really good. Well set up. Good instruction before departing. No maps or direction book provided. Phone numbers supplied for Severn river lock keeper not answered and difficult to find river info. Lovely holiday.

Thank you for your feedback. Our shop at Alvechurch sells a good variety of map books and the team are happy to advise on the correct map for your chosen route. If our customers are experiencing any difficulty contacting a lock keeper then we would advise them to contact the marina for assistance. Als absolut unerfahrene "Bootsleute" waren wir mit der Freundlichkeit und Geduld des ABC Teams bei der Einweisung und Abwicklung sehr zufrieden. Das Boot war gut ausgestattet, sodaß wir mit 4 Leuten bequem darauf gewoht haben. Die Küche war für den kleinen Raum perfekt. Betten mit Bettzeug und Handtüchern gut ausgestattet. Es fehlte uns an nichts. So eine Bootstour ist eines der wenigen echten Abenteuer, die man heutzutage erleben kann. Bei ABC sind Sie gut aufgehoben und haben eine gute Zeit! Wir empfehlen diesen Vermieter uneingeschränkt.

Our holiday was enjoyable from beginning to end. The boat was fully equipped. Having a TV in the bedroom was a nice surprise.

The boat was prepared fantastically, the staff we just as equal. I recommend to start your boat trip from Falkirk, the whole experience was great.

Our boat was very clean and we had no mechanical problems. The Mon & Brecon Canal is beautiful with trees and views. Our holiday was end of May and we were especially lucky to have clear skies most days, with wonderful views of mountain tops. Being a contour canal it is not in the bottom of a valley. Lovely variety of walks from the boat. Only problem was a member of party slipping down stern steps and tearing a ligament!

The Mon & Brec is a beautiful stretch of canal and it sounds as if you had a near perfect holiday, apart from the injury. We hope you will be back again to try one of our other Marina's!

This was our third year in a row with ABC Boat Hire and we couldn't be happier. The boats are excellently maintained, everything you need for food and sleep is there and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Can't recommend a holiday on the canals with a boat from ABC any higher.

The boat was well kept and very clean. Staff at Anderton Marina was very friendly and helpful. Cruising the Trent and Mercy Canal was a great experience with a good mix of countryside and some small towns, and several good pubs along the way.
