The boat was ready, well equipped, instructions were explicit. The staff were most friendly, polite, welcoming and helpful. Water-points were easy to handle. Altogether a most enjoyable cruise for the two of us.

Great experience. Only minor problem was the lack of mooring space when we returned which you can’t do much about!we had to triple-moor Grith & Watermark.

Every one we meet from ABC staff to the Canal trust staff was very helpful and friendly due to lock clousure and low water due to the lovely hot weather we had for are 2 week on the boat. Will be booing again for next year we have already started to look at we’re to go

all my previous preconceptions about a canal boat holiday were satisfied, however after a week on the narrow boat I found the confined spaces on the boats getting on my nerves

Union Wharf was a good place to start from. We appreciated being able to start a little earlier as that enabled us to get through Foxton locks on the first day. We had planned, using the 2017 brochure, to go to the Ashby canal. It would have been helpful if it had correctly reflected the daily cruising time and number of locks involved in this but we did make it. The boat was perfect for 2 of us and our dogs. The canals were all good without the pressure on mooring we have found on other canals.

As first time boaters, we didn't realise what was involved but the tuition given prior to us leaving was very thorough and very helpful. We loved our holiday, it was so peaceful and everyone we met was so friendly.

Three generations of my family had a fabulous weeks holiday. The wonderful weather helped. We were not over ambitious, but the fresh air and peace and quiet were a big factor in helping us all to relax.the younger ones did some cycling and running. Most days we had lunch on board and on 4 evenings went to the pub. A day in Bath was enjoyed by all and Bradford on Avon was lovely too. The team at Hilperton were very friendly and helpful the handovers went very smoothly. A big thank you to them!

We had a lovely holiday, lovely boat, clean and tidy. Friendly staff at the marina. Have hired a day boat from Hilperton and the staff were good and friendly that time too.

Very well organized at the Rugby Warf, they made us welcome and swiftly moved thru the on-hire paper work and details. The boat was very clean, everything worked. We had a great time and I wholeheartedly would recommend this type of holiday to anyone who wants a bit of an adventure.........but not too much of an adventure.
