Boat was very well looked after and handed over to us in a very clean condition. We had an issue where our tiller became jammed (probably due to us hitting the side!) and after calling the office we had an engineer out to us within the hour and fixed in quick time. Great service and decent prices

Excellent service and lovely boat. Everything from the initial booking right through to the end of our holiday was perfect. The boat we had, house swift, is their the newest in the fleet and everything about it was first class. We've been hiring now for 5 years, since selling our own boat after 15 years, and this is the best company we've used to date.

As a narrowboat virgin the team at the Travel Village in Blackpool recommended the Llangollen canal journey as a good choice because there's only a couple of locks each way. Also the scenery as you sail across two Aqueducts including the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct was just incredible. We had a large boat the Spotted Eagle for 4 people which is just perfect. All the mod cons including flushing toilets and showers.

Boat great Bath great mooring in nettles not so great maybe a council issue . Also lots of live on boards which was unexpected .

ABC boat hire is consistent with there boats as this is the second time we have hired from them . They keep everything simple on a canal boat so nothing has changed on the boat in 7 years . Of course we did a different canal which was an eye opener compared to our last trip . We found it much more difficult to tie up without nettle stings as the embankments were very overgrown and we aren’t sure if this is a normal for The Kennett and Avon ? Or the lack of spaces due to regular boats mooring . The experience was still note worthy and Bradford on Avon and Bath were delightful to visit and we are more than happy that we took 7 nights to meander through the British countryside nothing beats it !
