Staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable which filled us with confidence that we'd manage the craft okay... and we did. The narrowboat was spotless with no issues all week. I intend to go again at the earliest opportunity.

This was our first canal boat experience and it couldn't have been better. Right from when we first booked, everything was fantastic. The staff at the Alvechurch Marina were extremely helpful; and friendly. They explained everything, gave us good instructions and saw us on our way. Our experience in and around Birmingham was wonderful and very relaxing. We went through 2 long tunnels (twice) and several locks, great fun had by all. At one point we ended up getting a piece of wire rope around our propellor which caused us concern. One phone call to the marina and 2 wonderful mechanics came to our rescue. It was a challenging task removing the wire but they got us going again. We can't rate them highly enough! If you want to hire a well appointed top of the line narrowboat from a company with the best staff go to ABC Boat Hire.
