I have been sailing with this company for many years and their service is always perfect. This year we were at the marina in Whitchurch where the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be going again next year.

The number of canal closures and lack failures meant that our trip was limited. This in no way reflects on ABC.

The boat was well equipped with every thing you could need. Even waterproofs, umbrella and board games. The service from staff was attentive, well informed information about our canal journey and useful tips on stops and advice .

Blackwater is in a useful position Close to Ellesmere town, walking distance. Tesco even has a canal outside to top up shopping just before you go. Busy place , so get there early, you can unload your belongings on boat from 1.00pm. Our guide was with us about 3.00pm for our tour and chat about equipment on board.

Boat was good, plenty of room all round, kitchen well stocked with equipment. Perhaps more tuition for new travellers such as manoeuvring the boat ie reversing/turning around. You don’t realise it takes to aft much longer to straighten up

Overall great holiday. Making a reservation was easy. Lynn made the check-in process a snap. Martin went over the boat controls and systems thoroughly. He was a huge help in training us on how to operate the locks, as well. The boat was clean and everything worked flawlessly.
