We enjoyed the break and the process of boarding and return was excellent. The boat was great for our size of party and equipment supplied was good.

The boat and staff were excellent, they could not be more helpful and efficient. I have hired many boats in the past, and have not been impressed with ABC until now.

It was not the fault of ABC but Canal Trust. Canal closures and low water levels and having to pull the boat backwards for five hours then to try and leave the first lock to find there was insufficient water So had to moor for the night, which took a lot of effort. On contacting the ABC Office was told someone would be out in the morning. This was done and the Manager and an engineer arrived to explain they had contacted Canal Trust and that they would be pumping more water in. In the meantime we were offered extra days for the inconvenience caused. The ABC staff stayed with the boat as water was pumped into the canal and took us to the top lock where we were able to get water. Maybe a better way of making customers aware of closures could be found and also getting the Canal Trust to keep the hiring companies informed about works that are happening. The boat was great and facilities just right, thank you.

Thank you for your feedback. We are updated by CRT as stoppages happen and we take action to inform customers who will be affected. On this occasion we were not aware of the stoppage and so we were not able to warn you. It's good to know that Alvechurch Marina were able to come and assist you and that they were able to offer you an extended holiday to make up for the time lost. It's also great to hear that you enjoyed our new Warbler class!

Overall we had a great time but the boat was too cold on the night times. The weather outside was atrocious but we couldn't keep the heating on through the night. Give me a log burner and it would be a five star rating😀

Warm, friendly, helpful staff. Apartment was very clean and convenient. They managed to have the boat ready early for us and we really appreciated that! The boat is in very good condition and performs beautifully.

Very good quiet, holiday. Had a slight issue with the water system, but the guys were out with us within a hour and problem all sorted.

This was a new boat, unfortunately the fuse holder for tv booster was broken & one of the toilets wouldn't flush at all & an intermittent problem with the second toilet.

we very much enjoyed the experience our only disappointment was that due to weather conditions the river stretch from Bath to Bristol was not open. But made good by spending a day in Bath and then sailing back up the canal to the Caen locks . All over a very good holiday and the boat did us proud, thanks again

Me my little dog my sister and her husband have just come home from a week away we went from gailey to Nantwich and back and we had such a good week. Brilliant expereicne and would definitely recommend others to give it ago.

Excellent boat. TV and wifi both worked well. Cosy, well fitted out, plenty of sockets and USB charging points. Good bedding, extra blankets, lots of towels. Central heating and plenty of hot water for showers without having to run the engine. Toilets just lasted the weekend but 6 adults and lots of tea and beer consumed...

Great narrow boat with all the facilities you need. Warm, comfortable and welcoming. Easy check in a quick refresher on the locks for beginners and a tour of your boat with the friendly and informative Les.
