Great staff, made quite sure we could handle the boat before they left us. The boat is well equipped, super clean and silent so you can really appreciate the wildlife.

Firstly the staff in the office and at the boat handover were very friendly, helpful and professional in their roles. The boat was clean and well maintained. All the volunteers and paid staff of Scottish waterways were excellent and made our week an enjoyable one. And of course the canals were a delight! Thank you very much to all involved - we had a great week!

The canals were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our week. All booking and organisation worked very smoothly.

underhållet av båten och överlämnandet i Aldermaston Wharf kan förbättras. Annars är jag mycket nöjd med ABC Boat Hire då detta var 3.e gången jag hyrde båt. Tidigare i Wrenbury där överlämnandet är mer proffsigt.

Great personal service and excellent boat. I only withdrew one star because we hadn't been advised to watch their film on safety beforehand. We felt this used up valuable sailing time on the day, but it didn't detract from a really super trip overall. We would definitely book again with ABC boat hire and are even considering a longer trip next time!

Quiet and peaceful, but very shallow (as we were warned(. Very few places to get supplies along the way.

The boat was prepared very well, the instruction session was comprehensive and their description of tge canal was a curate. Our only minor complaint was that the coffee mugs were not very clean when we started.

The issue was all down to the boat, we experienced a nasty sewer / stale water smell after taking it out on the rear of the two bathrooms, which we decided to close up and not use. The shower tray has collapsed being plastic, they have timber under the base to support it, this has come detached. We know this as we are plumbers and have taken these cheap trays out numerous times.
