A very nice boat (just a couple of years old) and helpful, friendly staff made it one of our best holidays. The Llangollen Canal is known for its spectacular aqueducts but we liked the quiet, pretty sections even more.

Great service once again from ABC. Clear and straightforward booking system with a discount for returning customers despite it being at least 10 years since our last trip (we won't leave it so long next time!). The app provided useful information as we planned our holiday. The staff at Anderton Marina were really helpful, and Gaven provided a friendly, thorough and appropriate handover. Blackcap Warbler was everything we expected and more. Two of our three couples were able to enjoy the slightly wider doubles. The shower rooms have developed a long way since our first experience in the mid 1980s and are virtually 3* hotel standard. We cruised from Northwich to Middlewich to Nantwich and back over the four days. There were just enough locks to keep us engaged but plenty of time to soak up the scenery on this lovely elevated and open route.

Excellent service from ABC Gailey. A very informative instruction manual was provided which enabled us to resolve a couple of minor issues which probably related to the fact that it was early season and the boat had not been used for a while. The boatyard also responded very quickly when our engine failed to start one morning, and gave us a work-around if it were to happen again (though their initial resolution clearly worked).

1st timers in this field and had such a relaxing time with 8 on board + a dog. Very attentive staff on hand 24/7, a couple of times we needed them and they were there in a flash, Henry, Ruben n the boss man (sorry forgot name) were a credit to the company. Will definitely use them again and recommend for any barge lovers!!

On arrival at Aldermaston we spoke to a lovely lady about our booking who was so helpful & friendly We then met Ruben who was very helpful explained well & was really nice We also had help through the first lock which was helpful Our week away on the Arctic Warbler was incredible we all really enjoyed it & will return again The boat was equipped well for everyday living Thank you to all the staff at Aldermaston

Really good company, boat was fantastic, guys working at Nantwich were really good, special mention to Zack and Wilson! The route was challenging with 44 locks, but we all enjoyed the trip, luckily had good weather mostly which was amazing. Boat is very comfortable, extra wide beds, improved showers, great sound system, galley very well equipped.
