From meeting the staff for the handover to giving the boat back, everything went very smoothly. Boat was clean, beds were very comfortable and boat handled beautifully. Would definitely book again.

Lovely narrow boat, take your time with her though as she is very big to navigate on the canal. Other canal users have no concept of her size or manoeuvre ability, they come through at pace and do not slow to give you time to move out of their way. I assume smaller boats are slightly easier to control but not had the experience as yet. Locks are interesting, fun and a workout but for the savi warbler being precise and slow/ patience is a must, she is nearly the same size as the lock so care must be taken to position her correctly to avoid incidents. The community are supportive along the canal. There were a couple of pubs but not an abundance of choice. The nature, scenery and birdsong are amazing and so relaxing. Great for slowing down but still busy enough with locks to be exhausting.

Stayed on savi warbler for long bank holiday weekend, very nicely kitted out, comfortable space for family of 6. Beds are firm. We did experience April showers but had our coats so carried on regardless. Limited pubs along route but we had plenty of food and drinks for all. Great storage spaces and reasonable sized fridge. Staff very friendly, gave great advice about good pub for food. Didn’t keep us waiting very long even though they were short due to sickness. They were ready and keen to help us get on our holiday journey. On our return they processed everything swiftly while we unloaded, and they were not put out by medical incident resulting in damaged soft furnishings, took it in their stride which was super good of them. The canal experience was so friendly and interesting, everyone relaxed and locals very accommodating along our journey. Memorable holiday and would definitely do this again.
