fantastic service as ever

Very good and friendly reception, nice and clean boat, clear instructions (although we did not need these). However, the fact that a v-belt broke mid-journey is, on reflection, a big concern. We had originally planned the Thames-ring and honestly shivers are going down my spine to think if this had happened in one of the tunnels, or on the Thames itself. V-belt replacement should be preventative maintenance and not break-down maintenance. This could have ruined a holiday and could potentially have cost you as a company a considerable sum of money (it did already now, as it cost your engineer a day to fix it).

Enjoyable trip. All well except boat too long to turn at some winding places.

ast year I was also on the Warbler at another marina, but this one was also spotlessly clean and tidy. The explanation and information from the mechanic were good.

It was easy to book on the site, and communication was very pleasant. The reception was warm, and the information about the boat and the explanation were excellent. Our engine made a strange noise the next day. They were on site within an hour, checked everything, and we were able to continue our trip without any problems. Great service. We will book with ABC Hire again next time. Regards, Jos

We recently hired a narrowboat from ABC Boat Hire for a round trip from Hilperton Marina to Bristol along the Kennet & Avon Canal and the River Avon, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. This was the second time I have hired a boat from them and will not be the last. The highlight of our journey was working with the incredible team at ABC Boat Hire. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic, seamless trip. Their support and dedication made all the difference. It was a thoroughly enjoyable route and a memorable experience overall. I highly recommend ABC Boat Hire to anyone looking for a boat holiday, and we will definitely be booking with them again in the future!
