Very good booking service and communication from ABC, which included a change of location from Gayton to Kings Orchard due to water levels. Excellent support during handover and hand back of the boat from Lee at Kings Orchard Marina.

bra mottagning med ganska genomgående information om båten. Trevlig personal. Det negativa är att vi kom inte iväg på vår båttur förrens klockan närmade sig 17.00 väldigt lite båtåka första dagen. Lördagen, vår andra daq, okey med båtfärd. Söndagen fick vi ägna åt att ta oss tillbaka till marinan. Måndag: avlämning av båt strax efter åtta på morgonen. Jag bokade båt för 3 dagar. Vi bodde visserligen 3 nätter på båten men jag har svårt att få det till mer än 2 dagars tur. Därför missade vi fårt stora mål - att få uppleva akvedukterna.

Condition of Union canal was poor. Frequent delays to clear weed from prop upset our plans. Didn’t reach either Edinburgh or Glasgow. Having to book locks and bridges meant inflexible trip planning.

Water gauge and sewage gauges didn’t work, shower leaked under bulkhead into rear cabin. Lack of concern when faults reported upon our return. These faults cost us a lot of time upsetting our plans.

About 2 days cruising to first water tap at Kintbury. Fine with only 3 on board. May have struggled with 6. Shortage of towpath mooring locations, despite canal being quiet.

De boot voldeed helemaal aan onze verwachtingen. Het interieur was knus en functioneel. De inventaris was compleet (op een knoflookpers na, maar de Britten houden daar geloof ik ook niet zo van ;-)
