As usual, lovely and well equipped boat. The new wider beds with proper mattresses are such a huge improvement as are the new loos ( things that have just got so much better over the years since we first came in 1986).

The boat provided by ABC was beautiful and it was well equipped. However we soon realised we had been used to move a boat from Alvechurch to Gayton. This was an extremely challenging journey which was not pointed out to us at the time of booking.We had 78 locks which included the Hatton flight of locks 21 locks. We had to structure each day to insure we were at our destination on time on the final day. We had no time to relax or enjoy the beautiful towns we cruised through it was very much like a working holiday watching our miles and our travelling time.. We felt let down by the company and we were taken advantage of. It was very much a boat delivery not a relaxing holiday which we thought we had paid for

We do not advertise One Way Moves on our website which means you would have received an email stating that this boat was a one way move and was a delivery of a boat from Boat building/Alvechurch to Gayton Marina. We apologise if you feel you were mislead regarding the details of the One Way Move but do thank you for taking Kentish Plover to our Gayton Marina. We look forward to welcoming you onboard soon :)
