Our boat was ideal for 2 couples, well equipped and featuring 2 bathrooms. The ABC staff were patient and helpful on every occasion. We'd recommend them without hesitation.

Super narrow boat, spotless and everything worked well, lovely helpful staff, only thing I would warn newbie to canals boating is bring Nat spray! They drove me mad, so think it should be on items to bring. Apart from that what a lovely experience. Would definitely book with ABC boat hire again.

Just a couple of minor points. Some of the pillows were lumpy and need replacing and the table at the stern clearly hadn't been used for a while as it was covered in cobwebs and dirty. We had to give it a good clean before using it to enjoy out first night G&T's.

Service was ok but the lack of any form of recycling option at the yard on return was extremely disappointing as the reception team when asked said not possible. Surely a business so at one with nature and the environment, should view recycling as a basic requirement.

The heating broke down. The igniter on the cooker was working only intermittently. the engine flange was loose. The glass fell out of the oven door. The loos had to be emptied on the Tuesday morning. The hoover gave up the ghost.
