Friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable staff. We were a group of first timers on canal boats from New Zealand. The boat was basically new and was perfect having two bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Will definitely use ABC again next time.

The boat was good and the service was OK. We had an issue with the hosepipe supplied with the boat which didn’t have the required fitting for all of the waterpoint taps, leading to us being unable to fill the water tank on a couple of occasions.

Our boat was ready early in a lovely clean condition to the usual high standard. The extra wide beds were great. Lots of useful extras - coffee, tea, milk, salt & pepper sachets, air freshener. Lovely interesting route to Llangollen and back.

The boat was amazing.. everything we needed. We could turn up with nothing more than a toilet bag and clothes.. even water proofs provided. Well equipped kitchen so we could moor up and cook every night.. good training. Very relaxing and England and Wales are very beautiful at eye level moving slowly!

We hired the Village Weaver for a 10 day holiday. From start to finish it was great. The instructions at the handover of the narrow boat given by Ruben was very thorough. Ruben himself injecting humour into it too. The narrow boat itself very clean and tidy. We had to bring the boat back a couple of days early due to personal circumstances, and the staff at ABC Aldermaston were very helpful. I can't fault the service.

Service was second to none ! Friendly and helpful from the moment of arrival,Being Checked in by Gail without any hick- ups .She was very reassuring about any aniouxiety I was feeling. We were handed over to Bill,,who took over from there, He explained thourly and with admiral patience how everything worked. We sailed off with confidence and Bill. Who stayed until we were ready to go it alone. All ( without exception) were warm friendly and helpful along the way. All in all,, a wonderful, unforgettable holiday.. Thanks to all concerned .
