Fist time we had a boat with the layout of ‘Lark’ (galley in the bow of the boat) Worked really well for us. And the wider 2’6” beds were essential.

Lovely canals to explore, shame the weather was so wet! The handover of the boat was good. As a woman, it's quite common to find some men a bit patronising about women driving boats. However, ABC Mark was lovely. He didn't take over and drive the boat as so often happens, and he was very complimentary! A good experience. The marina was very flexible about our arrival and return times. Made our holiday really good.

Lovely scenery and lots of good moorings sailing through Milton Keynes to Old Linslade. Plenty of nearby pubs if you don’t want to cook. Journey took longer than estimated as there were a lot of moored boats along the way. Other boaters friendly and helpful.

All good. There's no need to power up the canal. One could go just a few miles and enjoy the same scenery and peace.

Have utilised this company, usually twice a year, for over 30 years and in general always found everything from booking, take over, response to issues and hand back to be excellent. Same for this out with some excellent, knowledgeable and attentive Marina staff.

Excellent handover and informative as to boat and location. Boat just out of winter storage and was prepared for service, although a little wanting in some areas, i.e Rusty oven surround, igniter U/S, read Shower mixer in operative only very hot water. But overall excellent and well equippee

From the minute we stepped on board we relaxed. The boat was spotless and well equipped. Our weekend was cold but the boat was warm and cozy inside due to it's excellent heating. Highly recommended.

We have a had a few ABC boat holidays. Their boats are nicely laid out, well equipped and comfortable. All the staff we had dealing with, from booking, to picking up boat and learning how to drive it, were first class.

The trip was lovely from Whitchurch to Llangollen and return. A week was ideal for this trip and we enjoyed Ellesmere, Chirk & Llangollen. The Pontcysyllte Aquaduct was an incredible experience.

We can highly recommend ABC. From booking the holiday to the actual trip everything was explained so well. The boat Song Wren was fab like a home from home with everything we needed. All the staff were so helpful & friendly. Would definitely use them again
