Although late October we had very good weather, the nights were cool but the boat had central heating. Heading towards New Bradwell we negotiated 8 locks, found everyone to be extremely helpful and the return journey through the same locks went just as well.

Excellent customer service, everyone very helpful. Not the first time we have used ABC and hopefully it will not be the last. The Garden Warbler was clean, very comfortable beds, overall a great 4 night trip. Thank you.

The boat was lovely apart from being chilly, needing lots of heating which cost us lots in extra diesel. The WiFi system is awful requiring full login far too often.

The scenery was beautiful, good number of locks. Fairly clean canal. Lots of pubs along the canal. However, the boat was receiving a repair when we arrived so we were delayed. Then we were told that the doors at front of boat were broken. I insisted on them fitting a new lo k as you couldn't actually close the doors. We were given a sheet to stuff the hole to minimise drafts. But I wanted a lock. This was done but the guys were keen to go and retrieve another boat which had been abandoned, so it was left to an unskilled helper, who was very lovely, but this needed a bigger job really. The inverter which had been replaced switched off constantly but after calling out for assistance, we were shown how to reset this. Temperature went down to 2 degrees and so it was very cold not having a door which could be shut !!!! For the price a week costs on the boat, this should be upgraded

We enjoyed the holiday. However the boat was a bit 'tired' and in need of upgrade. We paid the same amount as last year, but the previous boat was far superior
