Excellent service friendly and helpful staff. Boat was perfect in every way

From the moment we arrived at the Marina to the time we handed the boat back we received excellent service. The boat was excellently prepared and even though it must get used most weeks of the hiring season it didn’t look tired on run down! The layout of the boat suits 2 couples with cabins and bathrooms at either end of the boat separated by the communal area. We would hire this boat again!

Exceptional service. Every member of staff we came in contact with could not do enough for us,i am 83 years old and been on many holidays including 5 of yours ,this holiday was problem free,just to add exceptional service from Andy.Please pass these comments on ,good staff are hard to find.In this day and age people are quick to complain and very slow to praise.Thankyou

Although everything else was fine, and our rating would have been higher, we had to endure two sleepless nights at the end of our holiday, due to the strong and unpleasant smell of sewage in our sleeping area. We informed the management that this situation is not acceptable. We asked them to investigate and report back to us on their findings. We are still waiting to hear what the problem was.

For our first canal trip this was the perfect boat for us. The boat was well equipped with everything thing we needed

Although the boat is shown as an 8 berth, the interior is not adequate for that number, so a cautionary note needs applying to the advertising. Having bunks above double beds is not conducive to comfort by users. The make up bed in the dinette area had insufficient space and two cushions were missing. ( we didn’t realise that until the first night, but made do for the week). The facilities along the stretch of canal we travelled- west- are limited in terms of catering outlets, and water availability, compared to others, so this could be highlighted to make sure people don’t get caught out.

The high level bunks are available for children or small adults to use above a single bed and the layout of the Woodpecker is clearly shown on our website and in our brochure. The Woodpecker Class is ideal for a family with several children who don't want to hire a large boat. The dinette is made up using the seating cushions or the pull down single bed. We hope you enjoyed your holiday and we hope to be able to welcome you again soon.

Very enjoyable trip into Manchester from Anderson. Lymm and Sale lovely places to stop and eat, buy food or have a meal. Plenty places along the way for walks etc. Manchester media centre very interesting.

Embarking and disembarking were very easy. The information prior to embarking was very thorough and reassuring. The staff were friendly. The canal is lovely, but more suitable for a five or seven day trip than a long weekend.
