The reception at Blackwater was very warm and friendly, the boat was very clean and tidy and very well laid out throughout. Handover was very informative and covered everything we needed to know about the boat, locks and cruising the canal.

The boat was clean and well presented. Plenty of thought given to layout of the boat, equipment and utensils. The staff apologised for water works being undertaken for the breach repairs which they didn't have to. Clear instructions for handling the boat and basic daily checks to be performed. The boat performed well and was simple to operate.

A lovely boat, very clean and modern. Toilets were excellent, full flushing systems. Showers were great. Kitchen well set up to make use of the space.

ABC are just the best company to hire a barge from. We had our challenges this trip, but that was due to the canal not ABC. We did a there and back holiday and called into our marina for a pump out and water top up. They couldn’t have been more helpful. We just love their boats and their staff are amazing.
