The trip is what you make of it. The weather was unfortunate, but it was pleasant. The marina were efficient, but marked down due to toilet issue which we've had before from this marina. The boat was good, but let down by the heater issue. The handover took too long, much longer than at other boat yards.

Boat well laid out and well equipped. Very dog friendly as we had 4 small dogs which ABC allowed us to bring with no additional charge or fuss. A 4 night holiday is really too short as you only get 3 full days and we intend to book a longer holiday later in the year as ABC offer a 20% discount on a second holiday booked in the same year.

Prompt response to my enquiries prior to booking, made very welcome on arrival and briefing. Attended to water pressure issue in transit without having to wait around. Received refund of unused fuel deposit very promptly. Overall, excellent service from start to finish.

The heating didn't work properly in sub zero outside temperatures and the toilet was full after 5 days (2 people on a 6 berth boat) but these weren't insurmountable problems for us. Disappointing that ABC don't give a full size fridge, which Anglo Welsh do, and the extra size beds are a faff to set up each day so we won't bother with those again. However, overall the boat was nice, the layout is well thought out, the electrics are good and everything else worked well. The boat yard were pleasant and ABC generally are a good and easy company to deal with. Boat handover could be quicker - we are experienced boaters, but our handover took about 2 hours including a driving lesson, whereas others with less experience got through it in half the time.

Very friendly staff. Kept well informed of forthcoming holiday. Was also upgraded FOC to a larger boat as original booked boat had a fault.

Disappointed at lack of visitor moorings at Aldermaston wharf, possibly contributing to the demise of te local pub. We moored up abreast to an ABC boat because there was nowhere else. Annoyed at no mooring notices outside local houses.

Excellent boat - fully equipped and everything worked perfectly. Was a cold week but the heating kept us nice and toasty Boat was spotless when we arrived (and we were quite early). Would highly recommend and would book again.
