The staff were all very friendly and helpful they could not have been better . But the experience was marred by the boat having an inadequate heater that left us being extremely cold and uncomfortable during the night as the heater refused to function correctly and had to be switched off after the engine was stopped due to emitting large clouds of diesel fumes so to have the heater on the engine had to be running all so the WI-FI was completely inadequate

Thankyou for the information. If the marina had been notified about the heater on your call outs about the Wi-Fi we would of happily come and looked at the issue.

I have been using ABC for some years and always been very pleased with their service and quality of boat. This recent trip was a one way delivery for a brand new boat Magnolia Warbler from Alvechurch to Wrenbury. Needless to say very delighted to be the first to use a beautiful new boat but it was short lived and shocked at what was to come and other obvious faults. It was nice to see upgraded and extra comfort items ie larger bed; better microwave usb ports but not ready for the failure of the hot water system and other visible flaws. I collected the boat on friday afternoon and tied to shower that night-no hot water and ABC then closed. telephoned saturday morning and given instruction on possible fix - that evening no hot water. Phoned sunday morning and later that morning engineer arrived but I don't think he fixed the problem but merely turned system up to maximum and said be careful of hot water which I then had. Other issues included ill fitting interior window surrounds which let in drafts and insulation visible; very flimsy shower doors which I doubt will last a few months and also if not closed make opening of bathroom door difficult; engine hatch could not be opened as handle for access to grease tube too long-had to open access cupboard to open engine hatch; kitchen cupboard doors only opened 90 degrees so access limited to one person who had to be within the door opening to reach into cupboards and finally with the dining area at the bow, the double doors were not sealed and wind would blow not only the curtains but rain into the boat and onto the woodgrain carpet. Whoever designed this boat and also checked it before delivery has in my view not presented ABC in it's best light and I think very highly of previous boats and all staff we have met. I will continue to use ABC but maybe they need to look at the quality of new boats.
