Very pretty countryside, with a variety of settings. Only a couple of locks each way, which was a bonus for us (decrepit) old fogies! Lovely newish boat but shame there was no television in the lounge area (two in bedrooms). Found the (very spacious) shower very hard to turn on and off. The second mattress on two of the double beds were very uncomfortable...one very hard, and one on which you could feel all the springs...maybe some new mattresses could be bought. On the whole, though, a great trip, as usual.

When we had a problem with an electrically operated swing bridge which wouldn't open, I rang the emergency number and got a message service. The person did ring back about 20 mins later but said he would pass the problem on to the CRT and ring me the next morning. Next morning we discovered the problem - someone must have pressed the emergency stop and not reset it- so we reset the mechanism and continued our journey. I rang the marina and told them we had fixed the problem.I think that the emergency response was poor and we could have been told about the reset problem.
