This was my first time on a narrow boat and as skipper a bit nerve racking. However, I did better than I thought I would. It was exciting and felt like an adventure. The views of the Autumn countryside were spectacular and I would definitely like to try again.

The only criticism is the comfort of the forward bed which has to be made up. i think the cushions need to be replace as our bed for the week was very uncomfortable.

night heron had a few things damaged and whilst on the boat the cooker glass exploded..... and had very poor lighting

Disappointment of shower, having to call an engineer out to sort the hot water. General tired condition of the boat at the end of the season.

The boat was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful ABC boat hire kept us in the picture from the time of booking right up to the moment we got onboard

Usual ABC standard of care although there was no one to meet and take us in at Sprinwood. I understand that this is a new one so understand but it would have been very stressful for an inexperienced crew. Were eventually spoken to after a while and helped in. Boat felt a little bit old and end of seasonish and excelerator did not stay in place so had to be held sometimes.

The boat was very clean, the beds were not particularly comfortable. The layout was a bit cumbersome and the dining area was very comfortable.

we were very lucky to have nice weather, our prior planning went well. the scenery was good. our fear of locks was quickly overcome after the first one. the welcome and ending of the holiday at the marina was friendly and helpful. the fact that we were able to take our two small dogs was great. a most enjoyable experience. thank you
