We had issues with broken heating and needing to make a second call to get a fix put in place. Also. we were not told about the fact we weren't allowed on the River Severn on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Most aspects were good including handover etc, but the experience was let down by the extremely poor quality of the beds - I understand why the matresses need to be 2 singles, but the matresses themselves were so old that they offered no support and gave all 4 of us a very poor night's sleep, so we were tired and irritable for 4 days. This put a downer on the whole experience.

We found ABC generally very professional and responsive and we had no issues at all about the customer service provided. In fact it was a lot better than the experiences we'd had with a rival company. We've got a few comments about the boat itself: 1. We cannot understand why the WiFi allowance is limited - there are providers who offer very reasonable packages for unlimited WiFi for motorhomes etc. so why can't ABC get similar packages? These are not cheap holidays and to find our WiFi allowance consumed with a day to go on the boat was extremely frustrating. 2. Why is there not a water gauge on board? This is provided on a competitor's boats and is extremely useful to enable planning for stopping at water points. Similarly why is there not a fuel gauge?

Your recent holiday on Dove - Rock Dove from Worcester

Yes, the TV was really difficult to enjoy, being so close to the ceiling, to operate you needed to stand on the furniture and use a torch! gave you neck strain, especially for the children, disappointing. We were missing an under sheet, and mattress protector for the third double bed, and had to obtain this from another base, one of our double beds( being two single mattresses) would not zip together, and gave an uncomfortable night sleep. The vacuum cleaner was so full of dust, we had to empty this before we used it, the filter was so clogged, this we feel was very bad on housekeeping, maybe the end of the season, but sloppy work, is not acceptable.

Your recent holiday on Thrush - American Thrush from Gayton

We had intermittent heating operation then total failure. It was repaired for us at a convenient time but we did suffer two cold nights. On the final morning we had a flat starter battery, despite having run the engine for 2 hours the previous evening, in the 30 years we've been narrow boating this has never happened before, consequently we could not bring the domestic battery up to voltage, again no heating or toilet flushing. Again another call out , not good.

Superb holiday from start to finish *personal info removed by Feefo* gave us our instructions and he was so calm and professional- we felt confident in being able to set off on our holiday. Much prefer the reverse layout on the swift we are happily planning our nest adventure aboard an ABC boat.
