A great experience from start to finish! The boat was superbly presented and had everything that we required on board. I can’t believe that it’s taken us so long to try a narrowboat holiday and we’ll be back soon.

Then only issue was the K and A canal was packed with live on boats who spoilt the ambience of the canal and made movement very slow as had to be on tick over for so much of the time

Lovely trip to Llangollen and back with plenty of time to stop off and visit places of interest. Very relaxing trip.

We were disappointed that we couldn’t plan a route in advance because we were not aware that the farmers locks were closed until we got there which meant we didn’t get to do any locks. We would have done a different route. Had we known at the marina. The boat was lovely, new and well kept and had everything we needed.

There should have been more information at the marina regarding closed locks, especially as we were doing the route with all the closed locks, and we didn’t know till we got to the lock when it was too late! This meant we had to change our route halfway through. A notice board would have sufficed. In respect of the Wi-Fi, we had a reasonable expectation that we would be able to upgrade from the basic free package (which was rubbish) and pay for a better service, but this was not an option. As we do not have UK mobiles, we do not have roaming and therefore really struggled with accessing information on the app for a route, and keeping in touch with our family who were on another boat. Staff were surprised that we needed additional Wi-Fi, but would generally quite helpful.

Easy trip down to Bath, assisted by lock co-ordinators it was most enjoyable.
