A well specified boat, with excellent local staff. Really appreciated the change of sheets etc mid-way through our two weeks, and very accommodating with pump out and refuelling. The Scottish canals are quite different to England, and the marina staff advice was very useful…

We use ABC Boat Hire frequently. It's easy to book, and the booking staff are friendly and helpful on ther phone. The boats are great and well maintained. This trip was from Gailey Marina. Again, lovely friendly service.

Boat was ready for collection on time, clean and well equipped. Staff were friendly and very helpful on pick up and return.

Boat had a few issues. Battery was not retaining energy for more than 3 hours, with very little use. One of the toilets would not flush properly and the sink in one of the bathrooms was extremely slow to drain.

Boat was excellent, very clean, onboard amenities good, boat handled really well. Handover and information provided by Fox Narrowboats was excellent. Only negative comment is that toilet really smelt nasty when flushing toilet.
