Clean boat, worked well, staff co-operative! Despite hiring boats for 40 previous trips, we found that on Night Heron the bow and stern ropes were too short! When we stern moored temporarily at the ABC Wrenbury base the stern rope was not long enough to tie up securely like the other ABC boats so moored. Also when mooring using rings the bow rope was often not long enough to pass through the ring and back to the bow, and it was necessary to tie to the ring - rarely with boats in the past have we found this to be the case. (The centre rope was ideal.

This is our 4th trip with ABC, and we loved it, again. We will be back! The boat is reliable, the support is good, it really ‘floats our boat’! 😆

Good trip but the boat was a little too big for 2 people, our mistake. Canal has a number of very tight bends, which take some negotiating plus the 4 lift bridges. A brand new boat which had a number of items that failed during our holiday.

Good organisation, and booking system worked well once it was appreciated that we were a one way move. But the boat was 'boxed in' so could not leave at due time. Everybody is due to leave and arrive at the same time. Problem with bathroom door sorted very quickly, which could have been a problem. All went to plan and everything went and worked well. We broke down at the final mooring which was sorted out very well.

We traveled from Goytre wharf up to Pencelli and back had an excellent week everyone on the canal was friendly

The boat was in a good condition and well fitted out with bedding, crockery and pots, cleaning materials and towels. We were offered lots of advice before leaving and queries on route were answered promptly and helpfully. Handover and return was quick and efficient. Only one very small negative - WiFi not sufficient for 4 adults, even without downloading and surfing the internet.
