Pleasant, helpful staff and a good boat. However, well-intentioned but draconian COVID measures meant loading and unloading was rather rushed (we accidentally left items on the boat - heard nothing else about them). Also, on collection, the boat's floor wasn't quite as clean as it could have been.

Great service as usual. The handover process was smooth and efficient. The boat was clean and well stocked. It's our third time hiring a boat from ABC and we'll be back again next year.

Very easy to book and super helpful booking staff. We had to change our booking a couple of times due to Covid and nothing was was too much trouble.

This was our first ever time on a Narrowboat holiday. We had a fantastic time, helped by beautiful weather. The handover was excellent from reception and we felt very prepared for the weekend after our introduction by the engineer. The images however from the laminates could be improved especially when the first lock was a double paddle. We had guidance by a boating expert at the gate and went on to manoeuvre through 20 locks over the weekend. Having a smaller boat for the first time was definitely beneficial as it enabled us to navigate through the locks without any safety worries.

The boat was well presented and ready early. The marina staff very friendly, knowledgeable and polite. An issue with the invertor batteries was resolved quickly and efficiently. This along with the most picturesque canal I have encountered made for a very enjoyable and leisurely holiday.

The communication from ABC boats was great before our trip and they gave us great tips on where to go and what to see along the way.

the boat was nice to cruise on, even though the river avon was shut i was told where i could turn and given some direction so i could still visit bath, the engineer seemed to trust me to make the handover even speedier, the whole experience in general was delightful. been using abc for years and wouldn’t want to go to elsewhere for my canal boat holidays. keep up the good work.

Great short break. The boat was very clean and well equipped. At the handover, the instructions were clear and easy to understand. Our only difficulty was with the taps in the shower - easy to turn on with dry hands but very hard to get a grip with wet hands to turn off again.

Chris was helpful in showing us around the boat Old style boat. Was shabby and worn and needed some TLC. Lino was worn , Mattress was also lumpy
