A very quick handover at the start of our holiday. Friendly and helpful staff, boat very clean and well equipped. Very smooth process when we arrived back as well.

Equipment well stocked, friendly staff, good facilities. Disappointed about having to clean boat, the price we thought we paid should have included cleaning. Had problem getting back into marina after hours and was not told the key opened the gate. Bowls were dirty with food. Felt the welcome back was non existant.

Overall a good holiday, but on arrival we found that the marina had too little parking. Due to the hard work of one of the staff we were eventually found a space, but a slightly stressful start. Our boat was dirty on the outside (roof etc.). I suspect it hadn't been out the previous week and had collected debris. We cleaned as well as we could. The boat hook was not present, fortunately we didn't need it. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would book with ABC again.

We thought we had hired a semi traditional stern canal boat as we had selected the boat from the picture in the brochure only to find that the incorrect picture had been printed under the cruiser stern. The lady in the office pointed out our mistake and apologised for the error which appeared in this years brochure as well. The vacuum cleaner we had on board would not **** owing to the filter being clogged, once washed it worked. The alternator broke down on the last day and an engineer came out to replace it. He restarted the engine but when we arrived just outside Gailey for the night we were unable to turn the engine off, we called the engineer again who came out and sorted it out. `Apart from this the service we received from the staff was excellent.

Boat was not particularly clean although bedding / towels etc were well laundered. We experienced a broken toilet macerator on route and one toilet area smelt strongly of sewage which could be smelt in the bedroom area. Handover process was brief and not in keeping with the online information. Overall at £300 per night the experience was not value for money.

This was our 4th holiday with ABC. Discovered we were missing bedding and towels for the double bed too late for our first night☹️

ABC could not have been more helpful or efficient. The check in process was easy and informative and all the staff polite and knowledgeable.

This was our first experience and really the boat was too long to steer and manoeuvre easily. We would have been better to have had another couple on board with us as too much to do with just 2 of you .....not a restful holiday .. but the weather was kind to us. the guide book indicated places where one could tie up..BUT either you could not see the mooring rings for the cow parsley or it was private mooring. the canal was very shallow in places and we got stuff once too often!!!
