The staff at abc boat hire were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, polite and accommodating. They answered our questions and did everything they could to make our trip easy and worry free. We enjoyed our 4 night adventure on the Mon and Brec canal.

The service from the company was first class, but the layout of he boat perhaps a bit old-fashioned - the living area with the drop-down bench was les convenient than other narrow boats I've hired.

Could not fault Blackwater Meadows staff. Enthusiastic friendly and helpful with good instruction by George prior to our first ever narrow boat holiday. At the end of the holiday we left items on board by mistake and they were safely stored until we could collect. We will definitely be booking again with ABC.

Good variety of routes, beautiful scenery can choose more or less locks depending on route.

Very pretty countryside, with a variety of settings. Only a couple of locks each way, which was a bonus for us (decrepit) old fogies! Lovely newish boat but shame there was no television in the lounge area (two in bedrooms). Found the (very spacious) shower very hard to turn on and off. The second mattress on two of the double beds were very uncomfortable...one very hard, and one on which you could feel all the springs...maybe some new mattresses could be bought. On the whole, though, a great trip, as usual.
