There were a few niggly issues but on the whole the trip was good.

Friendly and efficient team, gave us good information and help to get started as we were novices. The boat was well set up with plenty of kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery provided.

From The moment we arrived we were given excellent service. The boat was impeccable. We had to cut short our trip due to illness and we were given an excellent reception on our return. The Staff at Wrenbury really do know how to treat the customer. I have hired narrow boats on a number of occasions and can honestly say this was one of the best experiences. Thank you for an excellent weeks holiday.

We had a wonderful four nights on an excellently-equipped boat. As newbies we were anxious about our abilities but we received excellent training, both on the operation of the boat and locks which gave us full confidence. We will do this again.

We really enjoyed our 4 night trip on the narrowboat. Everything was perfect. The only thing I will say is that we struggled to locate a tap where we could top up our water supply on the route we chose. (Aldermaston to Henley) Other 'bargers' appeared to have the same problem as we encountered some very worried people who needed to do the same. The handbook we had didnt show any water stops along this route. Maybe a handout which indicates essential 'stops' along popular routes would help. We will definitely be using your company again.

The marina was very helpful before and during the holiday. The cleanliness of the boat was excellent and the bedding and towels were plentiful and of good quality We completed the 4 counties ring in 2 weeks and found it very rural with lovely countryside as well as some interesting industrial areas.

If you are looking for a more challenging route then you may want to consider one of our ring routes which include a lock flight. Excellent - the boat was very well equipped, above our expectations and the only thing that was missing was a sharp knife. Beth at the Marina gave us some good advice about the routes we could take and where to moor. Really helpful throughout. The only negative was The Wharf, which is the pub at the marina. It was awful! The staff were rude and unhelpful and the food was very poor - sandwiches were in a packet as if from a supermarket. On our return we visited the Red Lion which was just a ten minute walk away and was lovely. We would certainly avoid the Wharf on our next visit - the only low point of the whole holiday.

Hand a good holiday boat had less storage than we thought loos did fill up earlier than we thought and warning light didn’t go out. Other than that it was ideal and even the weather was good
