The handover was well organised given the current situation regarding COVID 19, the boat was ready and we were able to leave the boatyard in good time. We had a problem with a water leak from the stern gland and this issue was soon rectified.

The boat layout really worked for us. The handover was spot on for experienced boaters as we are. Katie at the Marina professional and knowledgeble. She even called us beforhand to find out our route so boat could be facing the right way. No other Marina has ever done that.

Our third time hiring a boat from ABC Boat Hire, and we were once again thrilled with the experience. It was our first time at this marina, and we were impressed by the staff and facilities. Reception was efficient and very friendly. Initial boat orientation was done thoroughly and with a great sense of humor. The boat was beautiful and had everything we needed for our two week trip.

Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday which was a late booking arranged with a very helpful lady from ABC. Greeting at the marina and handover of the boat to us was excellent. Information provided comprehensive. Boat was comfortable, clean and well maintained. Would definitely book again.

Overall very good, minor points about cleaning with cushions not being moved or cleaned under but well equipped and prepared vessel. Hand over very thorough and covered all key points. Staff very helpful

Lovely holiday, friendly service, clean well maintained boat. Only drawback Was time wasted due to waiting for passage through locks.

Easy to book in, due to covid we had to find way round boat ourselves, all was fine apart from grease on oven door and floor of oven. Can opener did not work, we intended to have pub meal 1st night but as kitchen was closed we had to resort to back up tins... this resulted in walking some distance along towpath with tins to next boat asking to borrow tin opener until we could buy a new one. Bed extremely uncomfortable, why put 2 single mattresses on a double resulting in a hard ridge down centre of bed.

Great company, nice staff, but i feel the boat could of been checked over better as the batteries were poor which meant we had to leave the engine running to keep power, so come morning with engine off no power and no toilet pumps which left a stench through the boat and trying to find the toilet through the night was a challenge in the pitch black. We did have a number to call for maintenance which we never bothered with as we didn't want our weekend disrupted

This was our first boat trip on the canal and what an amazing experience it was, very relaxing and great fun. We will definately book again!
