Booking staff involved so helpful and very responsive. Boat to high standard. Boatyard staff also very helpful and understanding of needs of my husband who has mobility problems.

The main reason is that I felt there was a lack of practical training, while I recognise the challenges due to covid19. Setting out on a 70ft boat, with no previous experience and limited training was daunting and made the initial period very stressful.

We had no complaints about the boat, it was very well equipped and comfortable. Our only minor comment would be that the seating in the dinette was insufficient for 7 to eat a meal comfortably around the table at the same time.

We really enjoyed the week and particularly valued the rapid response from the tech guys at Whitchurch when we got a fence post stuck in the propeller. The boat was perfect for us and had no other problems with it.

We enjoyed our holiday BUT: One of the waste storage tanks was full on departure, so we could not use one of the toilets and had to put up with the smell until we stopped to find out why the toilet was blocked and were told it just needed a pump-out. Several of the ceiling lights did not work - no spare bulbs were supplied. On our return, we were harassed and obstructed by the cleaners while we were trying to unload. This just slowed us down and was a dreadful final memory from our holiday. One of the plates on the floor to which the table and bed legs are fitted is cracked. This made it very difficult to change the table to a bed and back again because the leg gets stuck in the fitting.

Lovely clean barge, well equipped and we received a friendly welcome. The handover was thorough and our questions were answered fully. The canal route was beautiful.

Went from Hilperton Marina. The pre booking, checking in and out experience was first class. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable, kept us updated through the Covid months, regarding booking and updated procedures. 7 adult novices had a great time, took far too many clothes, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Will definitely book again.
