Everything you need is there on board. The boat is fueled to the limit its up to you how much you use, if there is any fuel left you receive a credit for that amount. Every gadget and utensil possible is on board and it all works. The choice of journey is entirely up to you, the advice you get from staff is current and so, accurate to the last minute. I highly recommend a barge holiday for anyone who wants independence, choice and a slow down time to recharge.

Fantastic cruise from Wrenbury to Llangollen and return through beautiful countryside with interesting towns on the way and culminating in the stunning Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Winter Wren was a joy. Spotlessly clean, comfortable (yes, even the make up bed on the salon table!) and the bathroom was one of the best we've had afloat with a superb shower and electric flushing toilet! Staff at Wrenbury were SO friendly, welcoming and efficient and the handover was very slick. There's something for everyone on this route, so we have no hesitation in giving it 100% recommendation.

Very enjoyable holiday. Very good service. Boat developed a fault on the first morning but was repaired in under 1 hour. Very impressed. Would be happy to recommend your company.

This was our first time on a narrowboat it was a bit daunting at first however we soon gained confidence and had the best of times. We have recommended this company many times.

Such a wonderful holiday ! Peaceful and wonderful scenery. Obviously busier than before but that didn’t distract at all. We were able to enjoy total solitude. The boat was easy to manage and well laid out. The Langollen canal has lots of exciting sections.

The whole experience, from booking through to takeover of the boat at the marina, was easy and informative. The handover by the engineer was exceptional, he was knowledgeable and explained everything in a concise and instructive manner. He was such a nice guy. The boat was spotless and had everything we could need for our stay on board.

All very well organised on arrival we did have a couple of issues but they was all sorted by the excellent staff, handover over return was very stress free.
