The booking process was very easy, we were met with a warm reception at the base and the boat we hired was in fantastic condition and kitted out with everything we needed. Nothing to fault and would recommend for anyone looking to do a narrow boat experience.

Reception was quite abrupt, the boat hadn’t been filled to capacity with water, & didn’t look like it had been cleaned thoroughly

Great family holiday, enjoyed by all (aged 21-80). Boat had everything we needed but is beginning to show its age. One minor engine problem, resolved very smoothly and quickly with telephone assistance from the boatyard.

ABC boat hire - friendly, professional, informative and welcoming. It was our first canal boating holiday so we were suitably nervous. We arrived to a beautifully equipped and prepared boat. The staff could not have been more helpful with tips and advice. We had an incident with malicious damage and a broken window early in the trip. The team were caring and traveled our to replace the glass as soon as we could meet. Everyone was delightful - the engineers, the cleaning staff, the receptionists and the crew who gave us instruction.
