While the boat was good, the weather waqs very poor, the locks were underused and the towpaths overused due to Covid, which menat that the locks were very hard to operate and in places the towpaths were virtually impassable due to mud levels.

The boat was really nice, clean and just the right size. Everything you needn’t was there. Staff was very helpful, before, during and after the trip. They organised the pick up and return very speedily and well.

Lovely boat, excellent helpful staff, quick handover. We had a delightful cruise to Llangollen and back. The weather could have been a little warmer and drier!

Friendly staff, clean boat, nice to see wet weather clothing supplied on the boat for two people. Llangollen canal the scenery is beautiful.

A very enjoyable 4 night break. The return trip from Anderton to Nantwich is a comfortable one; easily completed and without any need to rush. Also time spent in Nantwich is very worthwhile, it is a quite lovely little town with a good shopping centre and ample choice of pubs and eating places and only a 10 minute walk from the canal.

The staff at ABC were great, the boat was lovely, well equipped and warm as we had terrible weather. The handover was a bit long.
