Wonderful holiday. One more thing off the bucket list. When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly and helpful receptionist. The boat was ready and the engineer showed us over the boat - as best he could given the present restrictions. He gave us tips on moorings and water points etc. We set off (with dog) feeling confident and reassured. The Llangollen canal is beautiful and the spring colours enhanced every day. We stayed in the town’s marina and explored the horseshoe falls. Not exactly a relaxing holiday but absolutely wonderful.

This is the second time we have hired from you. We enjoy the concept of a canal river holiday. The problem is that the early return of the boat spoils the relaxation of a weekend break. Three nights on the boat is only actually two full days. There needs to be an improvement in start and finish times. I make my point by saying that a Boeing 747 can be turned around in 45 min which includes cleaning and refueling. I am aware it takes time to do a thorough clean and four hours does seem adequate connected with your current resources however to enhance customer experience moving the turnaround slots to early evening would be a giant step forward, enhancing value for money with very little investment.

Thank you for your feedback. As weekend hire is so popular our marina's often turn around a large amount of boats on each handover day. The essential duties which need to be carried out on each boat include; cleaning, bed reconfiguration, toilet pump outs, water tank refilling, engine maintenance checks as well as any required repairs. Our team of cleaners and engineers will complete this work before customers arrive in the afternoon and the handover process begins. We would love to allow customers to return their boats later than the allotted times but this would impact the quality of service ABC provides.
