Good reception to the boat. Everything was straight forward. The boat was modern and clean. There was a major problem wih the water. Whenever anyone on the boat used water ie. Taps, toilet flush or shower there was a terrible noise from the pumps located under the front steps. This was so loud that it echoed around the whole boat, and if you were sleeping in the front part of the boat it would wake you up. It was slightly less noisy the further back you were. There was also an extremely noisy extraction pump if the shower was used. The being said we all made strenuous efforts not to use any water once we were in bed and, so, it was manageable. We would use the company again but definitely not the new Common Tern variety of boat for the above reason. We would also check on the likely noise on other boats. Apart from that the holiday and the whole experience were excellent.

Excellent service from booking the holiday to handing over at the end of the holiday. One problem occurred which was dealt with at the earliest opportunity by the base staff.

An older boat with a recent upgrade. We felt that the 66 foot boat was just the perfect size for 4 people. When we got on each other's nerves, we could easily escape to other parts of the boat!

The Whitchurch Marina team were great. We really had a great visit and the staff were knowledgeable and just plain interesting, good people. I would absolutely go back and choose them for our boating needs.

Fabulous day out for our family of eight. Everyone from the youngest at 3 and 4, two teenagers and the grandparents at the other end thoroughly enjoyed our first trip on a canal boat and would definitely do it again. The handover at the marina was friendly and informative. If you are looking for a day out with a difference give it a go.

The boat was immaculate and clean, staff were friendly, helpful with great knowledge. Only criticism if it had been raining it would have been nice to have a sheltered part to still be outside. No fault of ABC but there is some right arrogant people on the canals who see the hire boat and dont move over!
