Another great holiday through Abc Leisure. Professional service throughout the process. The boat was very clean and well equipped. And to top it all there are some fantastic canals out of the Nantwich centre. Highly recommended.

After a pretty traumatic journey from Australia, and some issues with availability of Aldermaston due to high water levels, Charlotte in the booking office worked hard to find us other options that were going to suit us. When we arrived at Gayton, the team were so careful to ensure that everything was right and we were prepared for our trip. The boat was great and we really appreciated the central heating as we were really feeling the cold. We had a wonderful and relaxing canal holiday and enjoyed making new friends along the way.

Thank you for sharing such a lovely review. We’re delighted that Charlotte was able to help find an alternative option after your difficult journey and the high water levels at Aldermaston. It’s great to hear that the Gayton team made sure everything was prepared for you and that the boat provided the comfort you needed, especially the heating after travelling from Australia. We’re so pleased you enjoyed a relaxing holiday on Purple Sandpiper and that the extra space and well‑equipped kitchen helped make your trip even more enjoyable. Thank you again for your kind comments — we hope to welcome you back on board in the future. ABC Boat Hire

Lovely scenery and the boat was great. Unfortunately the canal is very shallow and littered with broken tree branches and debris.

Purple Sandpiper provided us with so much space as our friends had to cancel at the last minute. So we were spoilt with the two bathrooms and everything we could want in the kitchen to cook up a storm.

The boat was immaculate. Everything we needed was on it. The bed was extremely comfortable. The training was comprehensive and friendly. We spent 3/4 days very peacefully enjoying ourselves. The five star review is because it was a very pleasant holiday and I would definitely recommend this marina, and we are quite experienced canal trippers, and this was exactly what one should be.
