Great weekend. Boat spotless. Everything worked. We were lucky with the weather - a golden afternoon on the Severn gave way to a blue-skied warm September Saturday as dragonflies skimmed the water and a pair of kingfishers cris-crossed in front of our bows. Sunday roast at the Bridge in Tibberton recommended - our vegan crewmember was happy too. Service at the boatyard efficient but also friendly and relaxed

Lovely holiday, instruction was spot on, our first experience was a good one, enhanced by the lovely weather, sometimes marred by other snotty unhelpful boat owners, everything we needed was provided and explained, will definitely do it again

Hired a Wide Beam for 3 nights and totally loved it. The boat took a bit of getting used to but was reasonably confident after few hours. We had a few minor problems, which were swiftly dealt with by the staff. One thing I was disappointed in was the lack of rubbish disposal bins, but not enough to ruin the experience

It can take a few hours to get used to maneuvering your boat but once you've got the hang of it, it is an amazing feeling! Your comments about rubbish disposal have been forwarded to Scottish Canals. Couldn’t be higher because the boat was tired looking and the shower never worked even after being told to leave it running for a while before using.
