We have had several narrowboat holidays over the last 38 years with several different hire companies. For the last 10 years we have hired through ABC and have always been impressed by the equipment level, service, and value for money.

The boat was ready, handover was quick and efficient. We were able to leave the marina quickly and be on our way. It took a while to get used to the layout of the boat (different to what we had previously).

The boat was by far the best one we have hired and was in excellent condition.

This canal was a bit of a disappointment compared to some other canals we have been on. There are too many boats moored along the canal and not enough visitor moorings! You cant moor on the river after Bath until you arrive Bristol. However having said that we have a great time overall.

The staff were very welcoming. The introductory talk and DVD excellent. Run through on the boat was very well conducted and we think covered everything that we needed to know. The boat was very clean and extremely well equipped. We were all treated by all the staff with great professionalism in a very friendly way. Well done.

Their website is very clear and booking is easily both online and via the telephone. Their customer service is exceptional, both on collection, handover and on return. You get what is stated in the brochure and more and the only thing they can't guarantee is the weather but they still portray a happy and friendly disposition. This was the second booking with ABC and I've just booked another for August 2019. I would certainly recommend booking with this company, Well Done ABC Boat Hire
