Booked online from USA. The boat was exactly as described, obviously well maintained, it was clean and the galley well stocked with pots, pans and plates. The staff was helpful in assisting in the planning of our two week tour of the Avon Loop. Identification of water points would have most helpful. The boat was not ready at time promised, but it was return late, so hard to hold the marina responsible.

Thank you for your feedback. The Avon Ring is a fantastic mix of river and canal, with some lovely places to visit on enroute and we're pleased the marina were able to help you plan an itinerary. It is disappointing to hear that you boat wasn't ready, with the boat arriving late back from it's previous hire the marina staff would have worked hard to catch up but wouldn't have wanted to compromise on the maintenance or cleaning required. We hope you will be back for another adventure on our canals again soon!

Would have been 5 * but for issues with the toilets!

Boat was a little tired, the curtains kept falling off the ends of the rails so needed to be fixed, the fridge didn't seal properly so warmed up rather quickly. Otherwise, the boat was quiet and handled really well.

Excellent 4-night break up the Llangollen Canal, on the 47ft Clarks Grebe narrowboat from ABC. Lovely, clean, modern boat that was well maintained and efficient. I would highly recommend this holiday company.

A superb boat, marred only by toilet problems. Twice in the week, despite a prompt response by the marina team, one of the toilets failed (apparently a timer problem). This is both unpleasant and worrying.

Great well equipped boat on lovely canal. Severe adverse weather was not helped by poor quality waterproofs supplied on board.

When booking and on the website although mentioned the different types of boat it was not until I saw both types I realised the difference retweet’s the two especially re stern configuration. The boat was clean and tidy and well equipped. Some areas of the boat could have been cleaner, behind the bin in the kitchen, and behind the doors in the bathroom areas. Otherwise I really great experience.

Thank you for your feedback. Our boats do have either a cruiser or semi-traditional stern and vary in layout on the inside, accommodating different crew sizes and needs. We are always happy to explain the differences at the time of booking if customers are unsure. We have forwarded your comments about the cleaning to Hilperton Marina. Overall a good experience but the boat could do with more towel hanging rails and hooks. Nowhere to really hang/dry towels and tea towels, being a large boat with lots of people. Top bunk beds somewhat narrow even for an average adult and the boat did feel narrow too (we have experience of many boats).
