The staff are excellent - friendly and helpful. The boat was showing signs of age. All the facilities were there but a little tired.

The boat was very good in al category’s the hand over was extremely informative well done Ray the engineer from Whitchurch Mariner all in all a wonderful experience, I shall most definitely use ABC next year the staff very helpful thank you.

A good holiday. Despite the length, the boat was easy to control. The boat could have been more comfortable inside though. Compared to other boats the seating had no cushion backs, and the kitchen position meant it was difficult to pass if someone was cooking. It also lacked carpeting that other boats had. Having said all that everyone enjoyed the canal experience. I would choose ABC boat hire again but choose a different boat. We were shown other layouts when we got back. I would also like to thank the engineer and staff on being so helpful when we had engine difficulties.

Thank you for your feedback. The Owl Class has been designed for larger parties with two dinettes, offering a more flexible layout. If you are looking for more comfort on a large boat then the Warbler Class would perhaps be a better option for you and your crew. Great overall experience. The canal was challenging but the boat wasn't. Well equipped and very comfortable. Would certainly use your company again for a canal boat holiday

The umbrella had holes in ..the mattress you could feel the springs ..the oven was rubbish took so long to cook..frying pan everything stuck to it ..don't understand how we used extra 10 pounds of fuel .last boat we hired we want further only used 5 pounds..only had heating on couple times had heating on on other boat more ?? Some of dishes where dirty had to re wash

Our first-time on a Narrowboat adventure and we thoroughly enjoyed it! A great challenge and yet, so enjoyable and relaxing. We will be booking again next year but extending out to a week or even 10 days to go further afield.
