It was so well organised and everyone so helpful that whilst we were so scared driving the barge, we learnt to understand it very quickly. We even had a few eekk moments which added to the fun. The pace of life is so far removed from the real world that it made it so enjoyable, just slowly watching the scenery go by. The barges are so well equipped and everything is provided that it really is a home from home. We would love to take the kids next time ..... there will be a next time!!! Thank you for a fab holiday.

The boat, marina, and canal were great, a single A4 guide to a couple of suggested itinerary's for the week with stopping off points would have been good. With that it would have been 5 stars.

Excellent weekend on the Sedge Wren. Fantastic handover from Darren. Boat was clean and well stocked with all the essential. Guidance on route given at the marina was perfect and really helped with our first ever boat trip. Wouldn’t hesitate to book with you again.

I think this boat is probably one of the older boats in the fleet. It felt "well used". The heating was not really up to the job for the time of the year. It took a long time to warm up and appears to be quite expensive to run. The batteries must be coming to the end of their life to as they were unable to maintain the 240v inverter throughout the night, even after a 6 or 7 hour cruising day, meaning that every morning, the fridge was off.

The whole experience was great, the staff at ABC were helpful and friendly during the booking process, and the staff at Hilperton Marina were the same. We were welcomed on board with a lovely little tea tray that included a small vase of fresh flowers. The boat was very clean and comfortable, the bed linen was good. My only issue was the fact that the saucepans were inadequate for a party of 8. None of the saucepans were large enough to cook for our group.
