Problems outside the control of the Marina lowered the experience

The trip and boat were magnificent. The 3 days were joyous and it was a pleasure. The website however has information on it that we made our plans with. Upon arrival we were told that the website, and that info was ‘sh*t’. On top of this, despite the facilities being excellent, the staff in the office were, at best, rude. Upon arrival we weren’t greeted with ‘hello and welcome’ but instead laughed at and aggressively informed that our trip, planned by THEIR website ‘would never happen’. Not helpful! Upon return, we arrived on time having cleaned the boat, expecting to ‘sign it off’. Instead of being asked if everything was ok or asked about the trip, we were aggressively asked ‘where is it’ about the boat. We told the lady where it was who then said ‘well I can’t do anything. If you have a refund we’ll ring you.’ Again rude, aggressive, unhelpful. Customer service and manners cost nothing and with what I was met with, I wouldn’t recommend the company for the lack of these manners.

Communication pre holiday was great, as was checking in, familiarisation and any assistance required! This is the second time we have used ABC boat hire and we will definitely use them again next year!
