The boat, quite simply, was the best narrow boat we have ever had. It was clean, modern, had great shower pressed, was the the best equipped we have ever experienced. As for the additional finishing touches like the welcome pack, tea, coffee, sugar, and toiletries these were simply fantastic. 10/10 for this boat.

Marina and staff were brilliant - route we chose but busy with many residential boats moored making finding moorings at certain points difficult!

Staff really friendly and helpful, they were able to work around our requirements. The boat was fitted out beautifully, even provided waterproofs!

Very difficult barge to operate compared to the other 2 we had and to find out it is now being scrapped just goes to show that it is of poor quality.

Thank you for your feedback. Our Viking fleet is very different in design to our Alvechurch fleet and customers can notice a difference with the operation when they have been used to hiring the same style of boat on previous holidays. Tyr is a reliable boat, which normally receives good reviews and is not due for retirement for a few years yet! We hope you will be back for another holiday with us again soon.

a very enjoyable getaway having to be back by 9.30 is disappointing as effectively you are down to a 2 day barge break but overall very good

Excellent from start to finish, Boat was well prepared and presented. Special mention to Matt during handover and handback. Couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Asset to your business. Loved every minute! The only problem is the impact of Denver Sluice on the trip; it's VERY constraining if you happen to pick low tides

Very helpful and efficient handover. Lovely clean boat that was well equipped and well maintained. Liked the fact we were left tea, coffee, sugar and cleaning essentials.
