Great experience and restful holiday

Our holiday was interrupted at the start due to unforeseen circumstances but the marina at Whitchurch were very understanding and did everything they could to help. We did get away eventually, the boat was lovely and we had a very relaxing time which was much needed.

What an amazing experience. None of our group knew how to drive the canal boat but there was a great dvd and then we were shown a quick tutorial on the water. Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful. We went all the way to Nether heyford and back stopping at Bugbrooke for a drink at The Wharf. Would highly reccommend this day trip to everyone looking for something a bit different and relaxing.

Staff at the marina were extremely helpful, especially Jason, Jane and Ray. However, could've done with a cafe at the marina, and also a shop which sold basic provisions like milk, eggs, butter, bread, newspapers, etc

The team and handover at Goytre wharf were the best we have experienced on our numerous narrow boat holidays.Friendly, thorough and welcoming. Whilst we chose the layout of Red Billed Finch, a few alterations would have made the boat much more comfortable. There was inadequate space below the made up double bed for the saloon upholstery; a mirror in the main saloon would be useful as would a few extra KFS and plates. A fold up small table and chairs for the cockpit.The bedding was a bit tired!

Great boat for 2 on a 4 night trip. Everything worked, including hot water and heating. Easy to handle, no problems at all. Got an early check-in and great instruction.

Nice big boat, almost new. Clean and tidy. Good interior solutions. Great instructions before we cast off, and no trouble at all on the journey to Llangollen and back. We had a lovely week on the canal, and returning the boat was quick and hazzle free. We will be using ABC boat hire again!
