This was our eight time using Alvechurch boats for a canal holiday. The boats are always clean and well equipped and the staff are polite and helpful. This holiday was our first time on the Kennet and Avon.

The boat was ready, handover was quick and efficient. We were able to leave the marina quickly and be on our way. It took a while to get used to the layout of the boat (different to what we had previously).

The boat was by far the best one we have hired and was in excellent condition.

This canal was a bit of a disappointment compared to some other canals we have been on. There are too many boats moored along the canal and not enough visitor moorings! You cant moor on the river after Bath until you arrive Bristol. However having said that we have a great time overall.

The staff were very welcoming. The introductory talk and DVD excellent. Run through on the boat was very well conducted and we think covered everything that we needed to know. The boat was very clean and extremely well equipped. We were all treated by all the staff with great professionalism in a very friendly way. Well done.
