Boat was v.good cooking/ablutions v.good loved the whole experience a bigger Tele would have got you 5 stars! The angel pub at woolhampton our favourite wonderful meat pie! Four old blokes had a great time would highly recommend

Boat needs updating as when raining leaked inside boat & back door panel fell off,in draft most of the time. Windows kept opening too!!

Boat was ok but a bit tired. We could have been warned about the lock opening restrictions.

We do endeavour to contact customers about stoppages prior to their holiday but restrictions are normally discussed as part of the boat handover. We do encourage customers to check the Canal & River Trust website before their holiday to check for any notices that may affect timings if they have a particular route in mind. The boat was fine with a good layout. The only issue was with the hot water for showers in the mornings. With other boats, we have found that if you run the engine for 30 minutes or so, the water comes through OK to shower. This boat took 90 minutes.

We love renting canal boats, this is our second year doing so! This may be a lack of research on my end but I found the location and scenery to be less interesting than previous journeys. We still had a lovely time but this was a more expensive trip than our other one and I'm not entirely sure why. Everything with check in and check out were excellent, as were recommendations for pubs along the way.

All staff from customer service to engineers were extremely friendly and happy to help, great experience. On arrival we were greeted and given advice on how far realistically we could go for our weekend break and offered Maps to purchase. After this we were advised to settle into the boat and await our engineer talk. We had a entertaining introduction to the boat by our engineer Martin and unfortunately the boat wouldn't start. However it was really nice to see that despite it being home time for the engineers at least 4 of them including Martin were present and helping to get the boat going, we set off shortly after. We returned to the marina early (the night before checkout) to drop some of our party off as they had to leave on the Sunday, and marina staff offered to help park our boat for the evening. We settled down for the night and had planned to use the car to pick dinner but we didn't realise the car park gates get locked, not that we minded as this meant the car had been safe during our weekend break, we ordered a Dominos instead and had a nice evening. Fantastic friendly service, great weekend break
