Prior to travelling we called the office for advice on where to sail on our boat. We were told to do the Stourport ring and not to worry, we talk you through this when you arrive....we did our own research and realised how time consuming the Stourport ring would be. We had no idea we any other option. When we arrived we were given other easier options that were shorter. We feel that the information given prior to travel could be lot better leaving the people more informed.

Thank you for your feedback, which has been passed on to our Booking Office team. As well as having a variety of route options on our website (including cruising hours and number of locks) we do also encourage our guests to research their own route prior to the start of the holiday and ideally order the relevant map/guide. The amount of crew on board can also make a big difference to the effort required completing a ring route and should definitely be considered. Customers can contact their chosen Marina in advance of their holiday to discuss their proposed route and of course this will also be discussed during the handover of the boat. We hope you enjoyed the route that you took and we look forward welcoming you again in the future.

Very helpful, very patient with us as beginners boat was simple to use and the location is beautiful. The wifi could be a lot better on board (stronger and more stable) The water pump for the shower stuttered a bit so water wasn't constantly hot but to be fair we were advised of the problem. All in all a great holiday.

Had a great time, boat really comfortable and as our first time everything explained really well. Only thing that should be explained is about the rubbish needing to be segregated and tell customers on route where to dispose of rubbish

State of grand union canal/ regents canal was disgusting with rubbish in the water. A lot of the locks on grand union and Kennet and Avon were really heavy and stiff and we've done this before on other canals with no problems. Poorlying maintained. Had leak in roof when it rained!

We had a fantastic short break on Tawny Lark. The wider beds were so much more comfy compared to what we had slept on in the past and the boat had a good level of comfort and facilities on board. If I was to complain about anything- we found the back steps down into the boat rather steep and my dogs in particular struggled with these as compared to the steps on other boats. We also could have done with a longer/ wider gangplank on the route we took as the banks were rather rough! Overall though an excellent experiance
